Birding the Meadows with Pete Dunne - Monday, September 8th, 2014

Some new ducks were seen this morning including Blue and Green-winged Teal, Northern Pintail, and Northern Shoveler. Waders included Great Blue Heron, Great and Snowy Egret, Glossy Ibis, and Green Heron. Many gulls were on the beach with at least two Lesser Black-backed Gulls. Shorebirds were numerous with sightings of Western and White-rumped Sandpipers, and a Long-billed Dowitcher, along with the usual suspects.
