Bird Walk for All People - Thursday, August 8th, 2014

It was a beautiful summer morning in the State Park. Tree Swallows were gathering on the beach near the Bunker with a few Barn Swallows mixed in. Sharing the beach were Royal Terns, Common and Forster's Terns; Laughing Gulls; and several good flights of Glossy Ibis. Walking through the park, we encountered an Indigo Bunting, Black and White Warbler, Orchard Orioles, and Cedar Waxwings. Raptors included Red-tailed Hawks, a Bald Eagle, and many Osprey. Leaders: Chuck Slugg and Warren Cairo.
