Birding Cape May Point - Wednesday, July 9th, 2014

Good variety of waders this morning, including Great Blue Heron, Great and Snowy Egret, Black-Crowned Night-Heron, and Glossy Ibis. Off shore we had seven Black Scoter. Shorebirds included, American Oystercatchers, Spotted and Least Sandpiper, both yellowlegs, and Short-billed Dowitcher, some flying, some feeding. Other birds of interest were three Bank Swallows, Blue Grosbeak, and Indigo Bunting. Leaders: Mike Crewe, Karl Lukens, Chris Marks, and Steve Weis.
