Sunset Birding at The Meadows - Friday, June 20th, 2014

A beautiful evening at The Meadows yielded some good birds starting with a Blue Grosbeak in the parking lot. Other highlights include: Willets with chicks; American Oystercatchers with chicks that look close to fledging; Cedar Waxwing both perched and flying; Black Scoter off the beach; and nesting Least Terns.
