Hot, humid weather with sun and clouds and a slight breeze. Highlights of the walk include: Breeding plumage Black Tern perched close enough to really study; Black Skimmers loafing on beach; American Oystercatchers with one chick; re-nested Piping Plover incubating eggs; Yellow-throated Warbler although the nest was not visible in the tree and a nest was found on the ground (possibly blown out by a storm); perched Indigo Bunting, Orchard Oriole, and Red-tailed Hawk.
